Mary Shustack shops around

Fragile beauties

November
27

Back in October, I wrote a story about Scott Hegan.

He’s a California-based glass artist who grew up in Chappaqua. He was coming back to Westchester to exhibit in the Westchester Craft Show.

His work is incredible — check out his Web site.

Well, he has let me know that for the holiday season he has opened a “virtual gallery” through which the public can purchase his glass. It’s a part of his eBay shop, a year-round place where he sells supplies to other glassmakers.

Sounds like a pretty savvy plan.

And those in search of one-of-a-kind gifts might want to check it out.
