Shop and do something for a good cause at the same time… how nice is that?
I have heard about a new fund-raising effort by the Hendrick Hudson Lions Club that seems to be, as they say, a “win-win situation.”
Those who’d like to help out are asked to visit the Lions Club Web site and follow the link to Amazon.com.
The club then gets a portion of the purchase price back  at no extra cost to the consumer.
I had heard about this program before  pretty sure WFUV Radio has been doing it for quite awhile.
It sounds easy enough.
You get what you wanted  and the Lions club gets additional funds to continue its work in the Montrose, Buchanan, Peekskill, Cortlandt and Croton communities.
