Helping out

November
27

Shop and do something for a good cause at the same time… how nice is that?

I have heard about a new fund-raising effort by the Hendrick Hudson Lions Club that seems to be, as they say, a “win-win situation.”

Those who’d like to help out are asked to visit the Lions Club Web site and follow the link to Amazon.com.

The club then gets a portion of the purchase price back — at no extra cost to the consumer.

I had heard about this program before — pretty sure WFUV Radio has been doing it for quite awhile.

It sounds easy enough.
You get what you wanted — and the Lions club gets additional funds to continue its work in the Montrose, Buchanan, Peekskill, Cortlandt and Croton communities.
