Prep for the prom

February
27

Soon enough, prom season will be here.

If you know anyone shopping for her dress, there’s an event this weekend at the Palisades Center in West Nyack that might be of interest.

Camille La Vie, is teaming up with Seventeen magazine and New York’s Z-100 Radio to present a “Prom Queen Search.”

The event will include a fashion show of this season’s “hottest” gowns, along with presentations on fashion and beauty.

There will be “mini-makeovers” and even the chance to walk a runway and “get discovered” by the magazine.

One local winner will win the prom gown of her choice and have her look photographed for a feature on the magazine’s Web site. There are plenty of other prizes, as well.
Here are just a couple of the fashions, sent from Camille La Vie, that will be in the spotlight:

The festivities will run from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Camille La Vie store on the mall’s first floor.

For complete details, visit the store’s Web site.
