Mary Shustack shops around

Sweet smell …

March
24

I’ve not yet had the chance to check out Szent & Company, which opened earlier this month in Larchmont — but I’m hearing some really good things.

Just wondering if you’ve been yet?

The shop, the collaboration between business partners Janet Robinson and Barbara Truesdale, sells perfume oils and essential oils.

They can be applied directly to the body or put into the shop’s line of unscented hair and body products for a custom creation.
The shop was designed to look like an old apothecary, as these photos sent to me by Robinson show:

But there’s also a “bar area,” where customers, Robinson says, are encouraged “to relax and smell all of our wonderful oils.”

I’m planning to go in another week or so, hopefully to feature it as part of our “shop of the week” series.

In the mean time, stop by — it’s open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at 1969 Palmer Ave.

Call 914-834-1515.
