Mary Shustack shops around

Boscobel’s bounty

March
25

I can still remember a trip I took last spring up to check out the revamped gift shop at Boscobel.

I had such a lovely time and saw such lovely things.

Because of that, I’m happy to pass along the following information — Boscobel’s Museum Shop is about to open for this season, with a sale set to mark the occasion.

The shop, of course, follows along as the Federal-style house museum and gardens also open for the season Saturday.

To celebrate, a sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through April 6 (excluding April 1).

Selected items, including jewelry, china, lamps, scarves, bags, garden accessories and gifts, will be discounted at up to 50 percent.

New merchandise selected just for spring will also be making its debut.

I’m hoping to get up there soon — let me know if you go and what you find.

The shop is on the Boscobel grounds, off Route 9D in Garrison.

For more details, call 845-265-3638, Ext. 115.
