It’s finally (almost) here…

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a story about local companies that offer warehouse sales.
One of those was Anne Koplik Designs in Brewster, a manufacturer and wholesaler of vintage-inspired jewelry designed for contemporary wear.
The Anne Koplik sale, I’m happy to remind you, gets under way Friday night.
Here’s Kara Koplik-Garecht, a daughter of founder Anne Koplik, showing off a bit of what will be part of the sale in a photograph by my colleague Stuart Bayer:

And here are some detailed shots of what kind of jewelry shoppers can expect.
It will, of course, vary, with new merchandise added throughout the sale period:

The sale features merchandise at 75 percent off retail prices, with, for example, earrings going for $3 to $30 and most necklaces between $7 and $25.
The higher prices reflect the intricacies of the designs and the materials, which can include semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and antique glass.
(And shoppers will want to keep in mind that all the pieces are nickel- and lead-free jewelry that’s designed and put together right here in Brewster — I even saw some of the enamel work being done… so cool!).
There will also be brooches and pill boxes, keychains and hair clips. Most of the featured pieces are prototypes (how’s that for one-of-a-kind?), overstocks and discontinued styles.
The sale will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. this Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday — and those same hours again on May 9 and 10.
The sale is held at the company’s warehouse, at 173 Main St.

And keep in mind, the company also operates an online retail site where overstocks are offered at discounts throughout the year.
