Mary Shustack shops around

Back where I started

Well, it feels like I’m coming full circle.

I wrote an advance of Crafts at Lyndhurst that ran in yesterday’s edition of The Journal News and here on LoHud.com.

Today, I spent a few hours exploring the show — and being amazed by the artistry on display.

My final post on my visit is about Susan Obrant.

She’s the Cortlandt Manor artist who was featured in my story:

And here is a little tour of her booth, where she’ll be exhibiting her one-of-a-kind crocheted work through Sunday. (Or you can see her in her local studio, by appointment).

In addition to her fashions, Obrant also creates a variety of creatures, spurred by items she first made for her grandchildren:

Cute way to end up, right?

If you’ve stuck with me through all my posts today (thanks!), you have a good sense, I hope, of what the show is all about.

Again, it’s on through Sunday at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown. Check out the Web site (linked above) for complete show details, or refer back to my first blog of the day.

As always, let me know if you go to the show — and tell me what you buy.
