When I first wrote about Suzanne Fonarow, she was showing these great bags designed for carrying your laptop.
The Pound Ridge woman — and founder of Lap Sak — was again exhibiting at Crafts at Lyndhurst this morning.
She’s among the 300 or so craft artists who are showing their work in Tarrytown though Sunday (I spent a few hours there today and am filing an extended “show report.”).
Anyway, I heard from Fonarow earlier this week — and found out this time, she was going to be in the “main” tent at the show.
After a run-in with a leaky canopy last year, she decided to move into the larger space.
Here she is, with some of her creations:

I was expecting to see her assortment of sleek bags but have to say, I was surprised by the newest creations.
Take a look at these great totes – and if you go to the show, you HAVE to pick one up. You will not believe how light they are. The finish is durable and water-resistant. There’s a little pocket for the cell phone and a link for keys. They come in a few sizes, too.

This one was just so cheery… Fonarow told me how a customer had just picked one up: “She said ‘It makes me so happy. I have to have it.’”

And I loved the look of this one, too.

It’s always fun to see how an artist takes their creation into new directions.
Few more show reports to come; stay tuned.
