Stained-glass artistry

May
2

I had the chance to finally see the work of Ronnee Peters in person this morning at Crafts at Lyndhurst.

And I’m so glad I did.

The Stony Point artist makes all kinds of things with stained glass. There are wall hangings and boxes, bookends and more.

Her booth was just incredible; I especially loved these ladies, which come to life in mixed media (check out the pearls!):

And these cityscapes were very different, as well:

These purses are really letter holders, with pen/pencil cups in front:

And this was just one of the new bookends Peters is creating, themed for different professions.

This one’s for the vet:

Peters, who also teaches stained glass, does a lot of custom work through her company, Captured In Glass. She’s also featured through the Brooklyn Artisans Gallery.

Check back for a bit more from the show.

Love the stained glass ladies, they have a bit of an art deco feel to them :)
