That Stephanie Leggio always seems to have something in the works.
Her shop, Pretty Funny Antiques, in Tarrytown is a year-round treasure trove for all things vintage.
It’s always fun to stop by and poke around — something I did just a few weeks ago to take advantage of her “Spring Extravaganza” sale. (And it did live up to its name).
Well, this weekend, Leggio’s holding yet another special event.
It’s “Uncle Joe’s Old Time Tag Sale” which her flier promises will feature “TONS of stuff: clothing, furniture, household stuff and a bunch of funny relatives…”
Sounds fun… and different — ha!
If you’ve not been before, check out this post I did back in October. Of course, the merchandise at Pretty Funny is always changing, but it will give you a feel for the place.
As you can tell, Leggio’s got a great eye for the fabulous finds — I’ve rarely visited without buying… at least something.
I’m hoping to make it to this latest event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
