Mary Shustack shops around

Let’s talk deals…

June
13

I mentioned it in passing last week but a friendly reminder that you might very well want to plan a trip to Nyack this weekend.

The Soap & Paper Factory — one of the cutest shops in the area — is having a major sale on its sleek and stylish products. Think bath salts and soaps, body scrubs and creams, stationery and wrapping paper.

Lisa Devogelear of the company let me know that tomorrow and Sunday are part of a “two-fer” weekend — everything is two for the price of one.

Can’t beat that!

The shop, as I’ve written here before, is the retail collaboration between Brickhouse Soap and Dewey Howard Papers, which are based up in Garnerville.

Take a look at my first visit to the Nyack store, back in December.

And here’s peek at the shop today, snapped when I stopped by on Wednesday afternoon (the shop loaned us a few items for my beach-bag story, which runs next week).

In addition to what the shop usually carries, it’s recently begun featuring the paintings of local artist Fernando Santos — aren’t they cool?

The Soap & Paper Factory’s at 23 N. Broadway. I’m definitely headed over — maybe I’ll see you there.

For more details, you can call the shop at 845-535-3234.
