Jewelry… can never be enough

I just wanted to give you an update about a story I have running tomorrow in the Life & Style section (and here on LoHud.com).
Yes, it’s about jewelry — one of my favorite things to buy, have, wear, etc. — and I think you’re going to like it.
It’s about Torch Song Metals, a jewelry shop in Nyack run by two young designers named Emily Postula and Ashley Harris.
The shop features their work, along with showcasing some other regional designers — and it’s all run out of a century-old house on Main Street.
Here are the designers, as photographed by our staffer Vincent DiSalvio:

(It’s Postula on the left, Harris on the right).
And here is some of their work, also shot by Vinny.
Harris’ designs:

And Postula’s:

And here are some designs from Allison Hourcade, yet another talented Nyack jewelry designer whose work is featured at Torch Song:

Hourcade — I’ve worked with her before and she’s the one who introduced me to the new shop — sells her work locally, in boutiques and shops around the world and through her RockLove site.
Here’s Hourcade, who was at the shop when I went for my interview since she’s also included in the story. (She’s in the center, here):

So, as I was saying, check out my story tomorrow — and be sure to stop by Torch Song Metals, which is open Tuesdays through Sundays. And keep in mind it’s extending its hours to 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Nyack’s street fair Sunday.
Torch Song Metals is at 167 Main St. Call 845-348-7081.
