I was in New City one day last week, meeting with Sandra Szpicek-Leylegian, the owner of The Things I Love Interiors.

I’ve worked with her a number of times over the years — her shop’s amazing, and she’s a great source.

This time around, I’m doing a piece on The Things I Love for an upcoming edition of our sister publication, Rockland Magazine.

Well, when I was at the store, Sandra was telling me about her major sales — she hosts “The Five Hour Sale” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Items on sale are 25 to 35 percent off — and she tells me, there’s a line outside the door when she opens, especially on Christmas morning.

The store’s at 191 S. Main St.

Call 845-639-6005 for more details.
