Antiques, indoors

I keep thinking I need to get back to the city one of these weekends to poke around the outdoor flea markets.
Yes, it’s cold, etc., but sometimes you can find real deals this time of year.
But with the weather and all, I’m betting it’ll probably be closer to spring when I finally make the trek.
Do you feel the same? If so, there’s a local option that just might satisfy our treasure-hunting urge this weekend.
The White Plains Winter Antiques Show is returning, set for Saturday and Sunday at White Plains High School.
Martin Greenstein, who manages the show through his company, The Last Detail Antiques Shows, Ltd., has assembled quite a lineup of dealers.
Expect to find, Greenstein says, paintings, furniture, oriental rugs, lighting and jewelry, among plenty of other options.
The event is sponsored by the White Plains Parent Teachers Association and raises funds to help the association finance school projects.
The show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, with the admission at $10.
The high school is at 550 North St.
