Where I want to shop

Yesterday, while I was looking at the Target flier and seeing bathing suits, I was reminded of something one of my sisters said recently.
She had just come back from another frustrating trip to the mall to buy a few more long-sleeved T-shirts from a place she had gotten them not so long ago.
The only colors left – in the style she wanted – were bright green (think Kermit) and beyond-turquoise blue.
And she had to make her way to the sorry little display through all the spring/summer clothing already filling the sales floor.
Her solution?
She would open a shop called “Tis the Season.”
If it’s winter, you buy winter clothes. Full choice of color, sizes, etc.
Same would go for spring and summer.
How many times have we missed out on great bathing suits by the time Memorial Day rolls around — or the best winter coats since we didn’t start looking until November?
We both realize there’s more to why stores stock what they do – shopping patterns, economic issues, etc. – but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to go into a store and find it devoted to things you could wear that very day?
