Mary Shustack shops around

Still wintery out there

February
23

I ordered something from Etsy recently and then started to wonder if I had been smart.

After all, it was a winter hat — a lovely little purple hat that just looked too cute to pass up.

But I kind of collect little hats, especially those with a bit of a retro feel. Besides, it was just $12, and the seller happened to be a friend of one of my sisters.

I just love having things created by local designers, so I went ahead and placed my order.

On Saturday, I got my hat from Cozy Girl Designs.

And I’ve worn it every day since it arrived… so for now, I’m ready to let spring arrive at its own pace.

Check out the site for more hats, scarves, etc. — with today’s wind chill, you just may want to stock up.
