Sale alert

March
25

When I stopped by to talk to Rhea Russo last week for a story I’m working on, she mentioned she was getting ready to have a sale at Suburban Groove.

Today, I’ve received the details of what Russo is calling a “humongous” Spring Sale at her fun (and funky) place in Bedford Hills.

Inside ‘Outside’

March
20

Yesterday afternoon I was in Piermont, catching up with Joe Serra and Bill Walsh, the owners of The Outside In Piermont.

I’ve worked with the guys a few times since they opened back in 2007 — and I’m writing about them again, for a “secret-shop” feature for the June issue of our sister publication, Rockland Magazine.

I always love stopping by the place — the shop is hard to describe but once you go, you’ll never forget it. Read more of this entry »

Ethnika sale set

March
18

I’ve heard from Yvonne Jean Rabie that the Spring Sale at Ethnika is under way.

Savings at the New Rochelle antiques and home-accessories shop are between 10 and 30 percent off.

The shop, which I visited back in December, is receiving new arrivals of a diverse mix of what Rabie calls a “unique and affordable objects d’art and furniture.”

Ethnika is at 1 Portman Road.

Visit its Web site or call 914-813-8920 for more details.
