Have you ever tried to make a gift basket for someone?
I have — and while you think it will be easy, that’s not always the case.
Sometimes they come together and sometimes you just get the sense that something’s “missing,” that it’s just not all that cohesive.
Well, Sandy Pizzuto seems to know the secret — she’s been making them for 10 years.
And now her Cortlandt Manor-based company, A Basket Case, has gone online.
Pizzuto, who had spent more than 15 years as an advertising executive, started the company by turning her hobby into a business.
Today, she provides all kinds of “individually designed” gift baskets for personal and professional gift giving.
They’re always made specifically for the recipient, incorporating her wide selection of foods, gifts and distinctive containers.
Here are just two examples of the baskets Pizzuto creates.
