Mary Shustack shops around

On the move

July
31

I’ve heard from Glenn Arkin at Strawtown Jewelry in West Nyack that he and his wife, Ellen, will be moving their shop in coming weeks.

The Arkins have been in West Nyack for more than 20 years and hope to settle into a new space, at 40 S. Main St. in New City, within three weeks.

As anyone who’s moved knows, it’s easier to do it with less… so that means big savings are leading up to the move.

A sale, which will expire on the day the West Nyack shop closes, is under way.

Shoppers who mention this discount will receive 25 percent off a minimum purchase of $150 or 20 percent off purchases up to $150.

The sale is limited to in-stock merchandise with closeouts, repairs and special orders excluded.

I can’t wait to see the new place — and promise a full report after my first visit.

For now, Strawtown Jewelry is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays at 9 Strawtown Road.

Call 845-358-4911.
