The latest mailing from the Rockland Family Shelter included a “save-the-dates” page, and one thing jumped right out at me.
The organization’s 14th annual Designer Fashion Sale will be held Sept. 23 and 24.
If you’ve been, you know the great bargains you’ll find.
If you’ve not, you will want to consider this shopping event that helps the organization.
Basically, designers, manufacturers and local shops donate new clothing and accessories — and it’s all sold at deep discounts from suggested retail prices.
I’ve bought some great things over the years, including an INC jacket for $25 that gets plenty of wear.
I’ve already jotted down the dates — and I’ll give more details as it gets closer.
