Of the books that have come across my desk recently, I began to realize at least a few of them had a theme going.

And it’s nostalgia.

There’s another art-themed event going on this weekend, this time in Somers.

The 2008 Watercolor Exhibition will be held at Somers Custom Framing.

The Lower Hudson Valley Fine Arts Exhibit will be held this weekend at Rockland Country Day School in Congers.

More than 30 artists will be showing their paintings, photography and ceramics, which will all be for sale.
